Pike School Headmaster John (“Muddy”) Waters and Kaleidoscope founder and director, Janis Baron, are proud to announce the birth of a new partnership between two outstanding programs.
Who? For an amazing 28 years, the highly-regarded Kaleidoscope summer enrichment program has drawn thousands of students. Children ages 3-13 choose from over 130 week-long courses with engaging titles such as Kitchen Chemistry, Extreme Survivor, Magic School Bus Adventures, Rocket Launch, and Comedy Theater. Built on the foundation of Dr. Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences Theory, Kaleidoscope encourages children to explore their natural talents as well as to develop new interests. Janis Baron, the program’s founder and director, has been a teacher, private school principal, and, currently, an educational consultant for Teachers21 in Wellesley.
What? Kaleidoscope’s 2009 and 2010 Summer Enrichment Programs
